Miss Jenny

Miss Jenny has been working with young children for over 30 years. She has a Certificate IV in Dance Teaching and Management, Certificate III in Children’s Services, is an ATOD member, Acrobatic Arts certification, a Rhythm Works Integrative Dance Certified Instructor and is First Aid trained.

​

As a student Jenny studied with various dance associations including; ATOD, GWT, RAD, FATD (now ADA). Obtaining honours with distinction in many exams.

​

Jenny is committed to the growth of the studio and continues to attend annual conventions, seminars and training days as part of her ongoing professional development. Some of these include; The Come Together Dance Convention, Victorian Dance Festival, Dance Principals United Intensive, Studio Expansion, Exchange, Dance Teacher Expo and ATOD syllabus training days.

 

Jenny was a dedicated member of Holroyd Musical and Dramatic Society for 10 plus years and in 2022 made a return as choreographer of Disney's The Little Mermaid. Her favorite roles include ‘The Wicked Queen’ in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, ‘Cinderella’ in Cinderella, ‘Giggling Gertie’ in Oklahoma and Soul Girl in Jesus Christ Superstar.

Singing has also been a big part of life as a dancer. Jenny has been given many opportunities to choreograph, sing and perform at events such as, Australia Day, the Small Business Awards and The Sydney Sings Spectacular with the Beethoven Society of Australia at Sydney Town Hall.

​

Jenny is a wife to a very supportive husband and mum to three beautiful girls.

 

Jenny is dedicated to providing stimulating, supportive and inclusive learning environments for her students and looks forward to the future of Step In Time Talent Studio.

​

Jenny would like to credit Lesley Dorn, Peter Oxford, Tania McLeod and Karen Malek for their wisdom and guidance.
